In this appeal, we are required to address the standard to be employed in measuring the trial attorneys competency and then to determine whether the representation afforded the defendant in this case met that standard. We conclude that trial counsels errors were so pervasive that the claim of incompetency is well founded, and thus reverse the judgment.
